Friendly Cove is located on the tip of Nootka Island at the entrance to Nootka Sound. Look for the lighthouse. Friendly Cove is a popular fishing spot and fisherman often come here before making the decision to go offshore. It is important to understand the fishing regulation at Friendly Cove as there has been some size restrictions in recent years. If you continue around the corner from Friendly Cove, you can fish up towards Maquinna. If you head offshore, you can make way to
Bajo Reef. You can also go across the Nootka Inlet and fish
Burdwood.
